Abstract:

Giving ethical values to students, regardless of the field of education they receive, and giving them this perspective, will contribute to achieving significant achievements by focusing on the objectives to be achieved in the long term without being corrupt in every section and institution of society, and by establishing the link between their professions and ethical thinking to students who will be employed in any sector in the future. In this context, this study aims to take the views of students who are studying in teaching faculties as future teachers candidates on non-ethical behaviors in the teaching profession and the views of the faculties that teachers encounter or may encounter during their work, on how effective they are in the direction of a teacher to behave contrary to the business ethics. According to the results of the study, the teaching candidates indicated that the unethical behavior given in the survey concerning the teaching profession was largely, partially and/or completely unethical. In addition, with these ethical perceptions of teachers candidates, some personal characteristics of gender, and some significant differences between classes have been identified from a statistical point of view. Again, the teacher candidates have stated that a large majority of the factors given in the survey that may drive teachers to unethical behavior, they find them effective and/or very effective in push teachers to unethical behavior.
