ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN AKILLI TAHTA KAVRAMINA İLİŞKİN METAFORİK ALGILARI

Abstract:

Bu çalışma ortaokul öğrencilerinin akıllı tahta kavramına ilişkin metaforik algılarını ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan olgu bilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu akıllı tahta kurulumunun tamamlandığı bir devlet okulunda öğrenim gören 93’ü kız, 133’ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 226 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması için öğrencilerden “Akıllı tahta …… gibidir çünkü ……” cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler frekans ve yüzde oranlarına dayalı olacak şekilde yorumlanarak tablolarla sunulmuştur. Ayrıca bazı yerlerde öğrencilerin görüşlerine doğrudan alıntılar ile yer verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin 23 farklı metafor ürettiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu metaforlar özellikleri bakımından 4 farklı kategori altında toplanmıştır. Akıllı tahta kavramına ilişkin en fazla televizyon, bilgisayar ve telefon metaforları üretilmiştir.

Metaphoric Relationships with High School Students

Abstract:

This study was carried out with the aim of revealing the metaphoric perceptions of high school students about the concept of smart plate. In the research, one of the quality research patterns of the fact scientific design was used. The study’s work group consists of a total of 226 high school students, including 93 girls and 133 men, who studied in a state school where the smart plate installation was completed. To collect the data, students are asked to complete the phrase “Smart Table is like... because...” In the analysis of data, the content analysis technique is used. The data obtained from the study were presented with tables, interpreted in a way that would be based on frequency and percentage rates. Also, some places have been placed with direct quotes on the opinions of the students. The study found that students produced 23 different metaphors. These metaphors are gathered in four different categories in terms of characteristics. The most of the television, computer and telephone metaphors related to the concept of smart plate have been produced.

The study group of the research consists of a total of 226 secondary school students, 93 of whom are girls and 133 are boys, at a public school where the smart board installation is completed. For the collection of the data, students were asked to complete the sentence “Smartboard is like ……; because ……”. Content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. The data obtained from the study were presented as the form of tables including frequency and percentage ratios, and then this data were interpreted accordingly. In some places, students' views are included with direct quotations. As a result of the research, have been identified that students produced 23 different metaphors. These metaphors are grouped as six different categories in terms of their features. The most television, computer and telephone metaphors about the concept of smart board have been produced.
