Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to reveal the change that the words show in their depth and width size and to draw attention to the meaningful connections that the Turkish creates through the words. With this aim, the English teaching to foreigners of Seven Climate A1 and A2 level lessons and the word lists of these books have been accepted and studied as a documentary. The names of noble words are identified within these lists. During the identification of the words, the basic state of the word was accepted. A1 level is 1245, A2 level is 1815 named noble word. The study was carried out with quality research patterns. The word obtained was accepted as a document and the analysis of these data was carried out using the analysis of the document in the study. In order to identify the depth size of the words, the name is divided into groups in the form of "Basic Meaning-Level Meaning-Terms Meaning-Atason/Deyim-United Word" taking into account the meanings they carry within the context. In order to reveal the change in width size, the words are divided into categories taking into account the unit names and contexts they use. The number of words that show a common change in both levels is 594 . From all these words, the first 50 words that show the most variation in depth and width size are identified. According to the data obtained, the words appear to have a positive change in the depth and width size, but the depth size remains insufficient according to the width size. Therefore, it seems that foreigners should be emphasized in the depth size of the Turkish teaching lessons.
