Amaç – Mesleki yabancılaşma kavramı, bireyin çalıştığı ortamdan ve yaptığı işten uzaklaşması olarak tanımlanabilir. Yapılan birçok araştırma, hizmet sektöründe yabancılaşma olgusuyla daha sıklıkla karşılaşıldığı ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, hizmet sektörü kapsamında yer alan muhasebe sektörü çalışanlarında mesleki yabancılaşma düzeyi ile yabancılaşmanın demografik faktörler ve alışkanlıklarla olan ilişkisinin belirlenmesidir. Yöntem – Bu araştırmada birinci elden veri toplama yöntemlerinden biri olan anket yöntemi ile veriler toplanmıştır. İzmir ilinde muhasebe sektöründe çalışan 468 birey ile yüz yüze ve internet ortamında anket yapılmıştır. SPSS 18.0 paket programı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada hipotezler 0,05 anlamlılık seviyesinde test edilmiştir. Hipotezler, normal dağılım göstermeyen verilere uygulanan Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis H testleri ile test edilmiştir. Sonuçların yorumlanması aşamasında Frekans ve Crostabb analizlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Bulgular – Çalışma bulgularına göre, muhasebe çalışanlarının %60,2’sinde yüksek düzeyde yabancılaşma olgusuyla karşılaşılmıştır. Hipotez testleri sonucunda muhasebe sektörü çalışanlarının cinsiyetleri, aynı kurumdaki çalışma süreleri, spor yapma, beslenme, sigara içme ve hobilere zaman ayırma alışkanları ile mesleki yabancılaşma düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Kadın çalışanlarda mesleki yabancılaşma düzeyi erkek çalışanlara göre daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Aynı kurumda çalışılan süre arttıkça yabancılaşma düzeyinin arttığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Tartışma – Elde edilen bulgular yabancılaşan bireylerde sigara içme eğiliminin arttığı kanısını doğrulamıştır. Düzenli beslenme, spor ve hobilere zaman ayırma alışkanlığı olan bireylerde mesleki yabancılaşma düzeyinin daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür.
Purpose - The concept of professional alienation can be defined as the individual's distance from the environment in which he works and from the work he does. Many researches have shown that the fact of foreignization is more frequent in the service sector. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of professional alienation and the demographic factors and habits of alienation in the accounting sector employees within the service sector. Method - In this study, data was collected by the survey method, which is one of the first-hand methods of data collection. The survey was carried out with 468 individuals working in the accounting sector in the Izmir province face-to-face and online environment. In this study, using the SPSS 18.0 package program, the hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 meaning level. The hypotheses were tested with Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H tests applied to normal non-distribution data. In the interpretation phase, the results were used by Frequency and Crostabb analysis. Results - According to the study findings, 60.2% of accountants were confronted with a high-level outsourcing fact. The hypothesis tests have found a significant difference between the gender of the accounting sector employees, the working hours in the same institution, the habits of doing sports, eating, smoking and spending time on hobbies, and the levels of professional alienation. The level of employment in women has been higher than the level of employment in men. As long as the work time in the same institution increased, the outsourcing level was achieved. Discussions - The findings have confirmed the blood that increased the tendency to smoke in alien individuals. Individuals with the habit of giving time to regular nutrition, sports and hobbies have been shown to have a lower level of professional alienation.
