Individuals take into account some criteria when looking for a job. Especially when young individuals are unable to be employed in with criteria that are commonly found in their minds, they apply to that do not have these criteria. The young people employed in these enterprises are not satisfied with the criteria they care about, their motivation is low, they are unable to be efficient in their work and therefore continue their job searches. This study was conducted with students of the university. According to a study conducted with 119 students, students are most concerned with the working conditions in a workplace, while payments are second-degree. The least concerned factor is the social responsibility projects related to the environment. When women and men look at the participants separately, it is determined that both groups are most concerned about the working conditions. In the choice of employment, women participants have been found to be at least concerned about the social responsibility projects that enterprises carry out, while men participants are at least concerned about the environmental social responsibility projects.

Individuals consider some criterion when looking for a job. Especially younger individuals, in case they couldn’t be hired in the firms that have their criterion, they apply for other firms which don’t have those criterion common in their mind. Once they start to work at these firms, as they don’t satisfy in terms of the criteria they considered important, their motivation decreases, they cannot work efficiently and finally, they look for a new job. This situation leads negative results not only for young individuals but also for firms. In the current study, it was aimed to determine the importance levels of the criterion that the university students take into account while looking for a job. Within this scope, a survey was conducted with university students. As a result of the study carried out with 119 students, it was found that the students gave the most importance to the working conditions in the work place, while seeing the wage important at the second level. It was appeared that the least important factor is the social responsibility projects related to the environment. When the male and female participants were compared, it was observed that both male and female participants care about working conditions. It has been determined that female participants, when choosing a workplace were least concerned with the firms which carry out social responsibility projects, while male participants were least concerned to the firms which carry out social responsibility projects related to the environment.
