Abstract:

The organization culture, which is interacting with almost all of the organizational processes (especially the organizational communication processes), is influenced by the human element within the organization, and is considered a living organism by the transfer of changes in the daily life of the person to the organizational life. The main subject of this study is the influence of organizational communication on the type of organizational culture and the change that occurs when it enters into this relationship as a medium of social media change. In this context, the representative of Turkey, including the metropolitan municipalities (2 pieces) and the metropolitan municipalities (2 pieces) in the 4 major municipalities, employees and managers have been surveyed. The findings show that organizational communication affects the organization culture type at a high level (positive), and social media use affects the organization culture type at a medium level (positive). When the tool of social media use is variable, it has been shown that organizational communication affects the social media and positively affects the type of organizational culture. When the social media use tool is variably included in the model, the influence of organizational communication on the organizational culture is still present and only the level of this effect has shown a slight decline.
