Abstract:

The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the concepts of self of children in the pre-school period and parental attitudes. Relative scanning models from general scanning models were used in the study. The study’s work group included 201 pre-school children and parents with a simple random sampling method from the pre-school educational institutions associated with the National Education Directorate of the Province of Afyonkarahisar in the 2018-2019 educational year. For the purpose of data collection, the "General Information Form" was developed by Villa and Auzmendi (1992) and adapted to the Turkish by Karaca and Aral (2017) "Perception of Child Self-Concept-PCSC" and developed by Karabulut Iron and Shendil (2008) "Ebeveyn Attitude Measurement (ETO). In the analysis of the data, Multi-Truth Regression Analysis was used. According to the results of the study, the concept of self-concept scale points; the parent’s attitude scale sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions of the democratic attitude sub-dimensions. The other sub-dimensions have not been found to have a significant level of self-sufficiency. According to these findings, it can be said that parents’ attitude has a great impact on children’s self-concepts.
