Okul Yöneticilerinin Öğretim Liderliği Düzeylerinin Farklı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi: Altındağ İlçesi Örneği

Abstract:

Bu çalışma, Ankara ili Altındağ ilçesindeki resmi ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüşlerine dayalı olarak okul müdürlerinin öğretim liderliği düzeylerini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli, araştırmada kullanılan yöntem olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın evrenini Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, Ankara Mili Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı Altındağ ilçesinde bulunan okullarda çalışan 200 ortaokul öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile araştırmaya dâhil edilen 125 öğretmen çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Bellibaş ve diğerleri (2016) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlaması yapılan Öğretim Liderliği Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Anketlerde 5’li ölçeklendirme (Likert tipi) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın istatistiksel hesaplamaları SPSS 20,0 programında yapılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. SPSS programında iki değişkenli analizler için t testi ve üç ve üzerindeki değişkenler için ANOVA analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler genel olarak liderlik algısı ölçeğindeki ifadelere ortanın üzerinde puanlama yapmıştır. Kadınlar ve erkeklerin liderlik algıları birbirlerine benzemektedir. Mesleki Gelişme faktöründe bekâr öğretmenler evlilere göre daha olumlu görüş bildirmişlerdir. 0-5 yıl arasında çalışan öğretmenler, 6-10 yıl arası çalışan öğretmenlere göre kurumsal gelişimleri konusunda daha olumlu yönde görüş bildirmişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin eğitim durumlarına, yaşlarına ve çalışma sürelerine göre liderlik algıları faktörler açısından birbirine benzemektedir.

School managers review the level of teaching leadership in terms of different variables: Undergraduate District Example

Abstract:

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the levels of teaching leadership of school directors based on the opinions of teachers who work in the official high schools in Ankara or Altındağ district. The scanning model from the Nicel research methods has been the method used in the research. The universe of this research is made up of 200 high school teachers working in schools located in the Altındağ district of Ankara Mili Education Directorate. It is a sample of 125 teachers involved in the research with the simple random sampling method. As a data collection tool, the Teaching Leadership Scale was used to be adapted to Turkish by Bellibaş and others (2016). In the survey, 5 measurements (Likert type) were used. The statistical calculations of the study were made and evaluated in the SPSS 20.0 program. The SPSS program has conducted the t test for two variable analyses and the ANOVA analysis for three and above variables. According to the results of the study, teachers generally scored expressions over the middle of the scale of leadership perception. Women and men’s leadership perceptions are similar to each other. In the professional development factor, solitary teachers have more positive views than married. Teachers working between 0 and 5 years have given a more positive view on their corporate development compared to teachers working between 6 and 10 years. According to teachers’ educational conditions, age and working hours, leadership perceptions are similar in terms of factors.

Abstract:

This study was conducted to determine the instructional leadership levels of principals based on teachers' views. The study was carried out with quantitative research method and survey model was used. The study group of this research consists of 200 secondary school teachers working in schools located in Altındağ district of the Ministry of National Education, Ankara Directorate of National Education. The sample of the study consists of 125 teachers who were included in the research by simple random sampling method. The Instructional Leadership Scale adapted into Turkish by Bellibaş et al. (2016) was used as a data collection tool. In the questionnaires, 5-point scaling (Likert type) was used. Statistical calculations of the research were made and evaluated in SPSS 20.0 programme. T-test and ANOVA analyses were performed in SPSS programme. According to the results of the study, teachers generally rated the statements in the leadership perception scale above the average. The leadership perceptions of women and men are similar to each other. In the Professional Development factor, single teachers expressed more positive opinions than married teachers. Teachers who have been working between 0-5 years have expressed more positive opinions about their organisational development than teachers who have been working between 6-10 years. Teachers' perceptions of leadership according to their educational background, age and working years are similar to each other in terms of factors.
