Abstract:

It is very important that people have entrepreneurial skills in order to economic development and social transformation in the world. In this sense, individuals must be equipped with knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship from young age. The social information course included in the first and secondary school programs is a course that is related to many economic, social and technological subjects and helps the individual to socialize. The purpose of this research is to determine the views of the teachers of social information on the level of entrepreneurship of high school students and the acquisition of entrepreneurship skills in the social information course. In this study, a part of the designs of the karma methods has been used in the design of the dominant status of the karma order. The research included 1050 high school students and 17 social information teachers at the 5th grade in the spring period of the 2017-2018 academic year. The data of the study was collected through personal information form, scale and semi-configured interview. Students’ entrepreneurship levels are shown while the arithmetic average, the t test and the variance analysis are applied to determine the difference between the variables. The data collected through a semi-configured interview is resolved by the visual analysis technique. The research has found that students have a high level of entrepreneurship. There was no significant difference between students’ entrepreneurship levels and gender variation. There has been a significant difference between the students’ entrepreneurial levels and the socio-economic levels, the number of sisters, the mother’s educational status and the father’s educational status. Social information teachers have expressed that social information is a suitable lesson to acquire entrepreneurial skills. At the end of the research, recommendations for application and research were presented.
