Abstract:

This study aims to study the levels of subjective well-being of school managers in terms of different variables (demographic, professional, school and socio-cultural). The study universe of the research is the school managers who are working in the public primary, secondary and secondary schools in the Kastamonu province center and districts in the 2016-2017 educational-educational year. The study’s sampling consists of 183 school managers identified according to the simple random sampling method of random sampling. The data was obtained using the "Subjective Good Creation Scale" developed by Tuzgöl-Dost (2005). In the analysis of the data of the study, the visual statistics were applied as well as "Test Analysis for Independent Groups" and "One Direction Variance Analysis (ANOVA)" . School managers' OIO levels do not show significant differences according to demographic and professional variables. However, it has been determined that the levels of the school managers differ significantly from the school-related variables to the school’s teaching type, and from the socio-cultural variables to the sporting status variables. It is recommended that research is carried out that the relationship between school climate and school managers is revealed.
