Abstract:

The literature of a society reflects the most vivid state of the language of that society, and the language has become a place in literary texts with all its wealth. One of the parts that make up this wealth is the words. There is a great deal of understanding of what the words in our language mean and what the literary texts mean. Some words have not been used over time, have been drawn out of the language of the people, but are still recorded in the texts. In such circumstances, he must with great effort enter the historical depths of the language and try to reveal what people who use that phrase mean. In this study, one of the words that are not used today, the term "head play" was discussed, examples from the beads it passed were identified, meaning world and use focused on it. Thus, a phrase used in our classical literature has become more prominent and it is thought to be a contribution to efforts such as understanding our ancient poetry or text charity. In Divan poetry, this phrase, which expresses the love's eye, the sacrifice of his life, and even the pleasure of giving his head for his loved one, has been widely used by our poets, and many examples of bullying are found in the basics.
