Abstract:

The objective of this research is to develop a valid and reliable success test for the measurement of the basic laboratory science knowledge of the science knowledge teacher candidates. In the study, the scan method was used. The universe of research consists of 125 teachers candidates in the Mathematics and Science Education Department of the University of Inönü, which is studying in the 2018-2019 educational-educational year. The research has used the 'Basic Science Laboratory Success Test' developed by us as a data collection tool. The validity and reliability of the measurement tool developed in accordance with the test development process, after pilot application, is done with the TAP material and test analysis program. According to the results of the analysis, an adequate level of valid and reliable success test has been obtained. The test consists of 30 already selected questions, including 10 physics, 10 chemistry and 10 biological laboratory.
