Modüler Öğretim Programına İlişkin Meslek Dersi Öğretmenlerinin Metaforik Algıları

Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı, modüler öğretim programına ilişkin meslek dersi öğretmenlerinin metaforik algılarını belirlemektir. Araştırma, nitel yaklaşım temelinde durum çalışmasına göre desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 90 meslek dersi öğretmenidir. Veriler, anket formuyla toplanmış ve içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Sonuçta, modüler öğretim programına ilişkin toplam 75 metafor geliştirmiştir. En fazla tekrarlanan  “kılavuz” metaforu olmuştur. Kılavuz metaforunu puzzle, fener, hayat, rehber, direksiyon, araç ve pusula metaforları izlemiştir. Metaforlar, benzetme yönlerine göre kategorilere ayrılmıştır. En fazla metafor, modüler yapı kategorisinde toplanmıştır. Metaforların büyük çoğunluğu modüler öğretim programına ilişkin olumlu ifadeler içermektedir. Meslek dersi öğretmenlerinin modüler öğretim programına ilişkin bilgi, tecrübe ve olumlu bir algıya sahip oldukları söylenebilir.

The Metaphoric Perceptions of Teachers Related to the Modular Teaching Program

Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to determine the metaphoric perceptions of the teachers of the professional course regarding the modular curriculum. The research is designed on the basis of the status study on the basis of the quality approach. The research team is 90 professional lessons teachers. The data is collected through the survey form and analyzed by the content analysis method. After all, a total of 75 metaphors on the modular curriculum have been developed. It was the most repeated "guide" metafor. The guide followed the metaphors of the puzzle, lights, life, guide, wheel, vehicle and puzzle. The metaphors are divided into categories according to the comparison directions. Most metaphors are collected in the modular structure category. The vast majority of the metaphors contain positive expressions about the modular curriculum. It can be said that teachers of professional classes have knowledge, experience and a positive perception of the modular curriculum.

The purpose of the current study is to find out the metaphoric perceptions of teachers of vocational education on modular teaching program. The study was designed according to the case study on the basis of qualitative approach.  The study group was 90 vocational course teachers. The data collection tool used in the study was a questionnaire form prepared by the researchers. At the end of the study, a total number of 75 metaphors were developed regarding the modular teaching program. The most often used metaphor was “guide” and was followed by puzzle, lantern, life, guidebook, wheel, car and compass. The most metaphor was collected in the “modular structure” category. The vast majority of metaphors have positive expressions about the modular curriculum. It can be said that the vocational course teachers have knowledge, experience and a positive perception about the modular teaching program.
