Klasik Türk edebiyatında sâkî-nâmeler; içkiyi, içki meclislerini, içki sunan sâkîyî, hânende ve sâzendeleri, içki meclislerinin usul ve geleneklerini gerçek ya da mecazlı olarak anlatan manzum eserlerdir. Sâkî-nâmelerde söz edilen meclislerin hüviyetini tam mânâsıyla gösteren oluşumlardan biri, Çağatay sahası edebî geleneğinde oldukça meşhur olan Baykara meclisleridir. Hüseyin Baykara ile onun nedimi Ali Şir Nevâyî’nin hâmîliğinde gerçekleşen bu meclisler; siyasî, edebî ve sosyal yönü olan toplantılardır. Bu meclislerin öncülerinden olan Ali Şir Nevâyî de sâkî-nâme türünde iki manzume kaleme almıştır. Nevâyî’nin Fevâyidü’l-Kiber isimli divanında yer alan bu sâkî-nâmelerden biri mesnevi, diğeri ise terci-i bent nazım şekliyle yazılmıştır. Terci-i bent nazım şekliyle yazılan sâkî-nâme, aynı zamanda Nevâyî’nin Garâyibü’s-Sıgar isimli divanında da yer almaktadır. Nevâyî, mesnevi şeklinde yazdığı sâkî-nâmesinde meclise katılanlardan söz ederken terci-i bent şeklinde yazdığı sâkî-nâmesinde ise tasavvufî kavramlardan sıklıkla söz etmiştir. Bu çalışmada Nevâyî’nin terci-i bent şeklinde yazdığı sâkî-nâme ele alınmıştır. Nevâyî ile onun yakın dostu ve pîri Molla Câmî’nin münasebetleri göz önüne alınarak şiirin tasavvufî yönü üzerinde durulmuştur.
