Okullarda Katılımcı Karar Verme Sürecinin incelenmesi

Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı, resmî ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre okullarda katılımcı karar verme sürecinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evreni Ankara ili Çubuk ilçesindeki resmî ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerdir. Bu kapsamda 239 kültür dersi ve meslek dersi öğretmeninden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma verileri Okullarda Karar Verme Süreci Ölçeği (Güçlü, Özer, Kurt & Koşar, 2012) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizleri SPSS 21.00 programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre okullarda karar alımında etkili olan etmenler açısından bakıldığında en etkili olan etmenlerin okul müdürü, mevzuat, Bakanlık ve İl/İlçe MEM'ler ve müdür yardımcıları olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu durum okullarda karar verme sürecinin yeterince katılımcı olmadığının bir göstergesi olarak kabul edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına dayalı olarak okul yöneticilerinin okuldaki karar verme süreçlerine okul paydaşlarını daha fazla dâhil etmeleri ve dâhil edilen paydaşların da karar sürecinde daha etkin rol almalarını sağlamaları yönünde öneriler yapılmıştır.

Study of the decision-making process of participants in schools

Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to study the participating decision-making process in schools according to the opinions of teachers who work in the official secondary schools. Research is an imaginary study in the screening model. The universe of research is the teachers who work in the official secondary school in Ankara or Çubuk district. In this context, 239 cultural lessons and professional lessons have been collected from the teachers. The research data was collected using the scale of the decision-making process in schools (Powerful, Özer, Kurt & Runner, 2012). Data analysis is done with the SPSS 21.00 program. According to the results of the research, the most effective factors in school decision-making are the school director, the legislation, the Ministry and the Provincial/Regional MEMs and the assistant director. This situation was considered a indicator of the lack of sufficient participation in the decision-making process in schools. Based on the results of the research, school managers were recommended to include school stakeholders more in the decision-making processes and ensure that the stakeholders involved also play more effective role in the decision-making process.

The purpose of the study is the examination of decision making process in schools according to the opinions of teachers working in public secondary schools. This research is a descriptive study in which survey method was conducted. The population of the study is the teachers working in public secondary schools in the township of Çubuk in Ankara province. In this scope, data were collected from 239 teachers giving culture courses and vocational courses. Research data were collected using Decision Making Process in Schools Scale (Güçlü, Özer, Kurt & Koşar, 2012). In the data analysis, SPSS 21.00 program was used. According to the research results, the most effective factors influencing the joint decision process in schools are the school principal, the legislation, the Ministry and the province / township education directors and the assistant principals. This case is regarded as an indicator that the decision-making process in schools is not sufficiently participatory. Based on the results of the research, suggestions were made for the school administrators to involve school stakeholders in school decision-making processes and to ensure that the involved stakeholders have a more effective role in the decision-making process.
