Kazak sözlü edebiyatının en büyük temsilcisi olarak kabul edilen Jambıl, 1846-1945 yılları arasında yaşar. Jetisuv şairlerinin büyük ozanı Süyinbay’ın takdirini kazanarak, ondan dua alır. Süyinbay’ın yanında yaklaşık bir yıl kaldıktan sonra Kazak halk şiirinin aytıs, jır ve tolgav türlerinde başarılı eserler verir. Esas şöhretini aytıs türünde söylediği şiirlerle elde eden Jambıl, aynı zamanda oldukça başarılı bir destan söyleyicisidir. Köroğlu, Kız Jibek, Oraq Mamay, Yedige ve Şora Batır vb. gibi birçok destanı dombıra eşliğinde söyleyip kendi yorumuyla halka ulaştırmıştır. Jambıl’ın eserleri, Kazak halkının kültürel bir ansiklopedisi gibidir. Şairin yaşadığı dönemde Kazakların başından geçen tarihi ve sosyal olayların birçoğu ozanın şiirlerinden takip edilebilir. Yine onun şiirleri Kazakların günlük hayatı ve sosyal yaşamları hakkında pek çok bilgiyi ihtiva etmektedir. Jambıl’ın “Akın Boldım” (Ozan/Şair Oldum) adlı şiiri yaşname türünün özelliklerini taşımaktadır. Bilindiği üzere yaşname, âşık edebiyatı nazım türlerinden olup, bu tür şiirlerde âşıklar duygu, düşünce ve tecrübeleri paralelinde insan ömrünü safha safha değerlendirirler. Türk dünyası edebiyatının müşterek unsurları arasında yer alan yaşnameler, halkın uzun yıllar sonucu elde ettiği geleneksel halk bilgisini ve toplumun ortak kültürel belleğini aksettiren nazım türlerinden biridir. Çalışmada yaşname kavramı ve Jambıl’ın hayatı hakkında genel bilgi verilip, ozanın yaşname özelliği taşıyan “Akın Boldım” adlı şiiri edebiyat dünyasına tanıtılmış ve bu eser üzerinden Jambıl’ın şiir dünyası ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.
Jambil, considered to be the greatest representative of Kazakh verbal literature, lived between 1846 and 1945. The great poem of Jetisuv, winning the appreciation of Syinbay, receives prayer from him. After staying next to Syinbay for about a year, the Kazak people’s poetry gives successful works in the kinds of aytis, jir and tolgav. Jambıl, who has gained his primary fame with his poems in the style of the month, is also a very successful narrative. As it is known, ageing, love literature is a kind of nazim, and in such poems, lovers evaluate human life in parallel with their feelings, thoughts and experiences. The Turkish world of literature is one of the kinds of life that is among the clientel elements, the traditional public knowledge that the people have obtained as a result of many years and the common cultural memory of the society. In the study, the concept of ageing and the general information about Jambıl's life was given, the poem "Akın Boldım" which has the characteristic of ageing of the ozan was introduced to the literary world and through this work the poem world of Jambıl was tried to be addressed.
Jambyl, who is regarded as the greatest representative of Kazakh oral literature, lived in the time period between 1846-1945. He was appreciated and dignified by Suyunbai, the prominent poet of Zhetysu. After spending a year with Suyunbai, he produced successful art pieces in the aytys, jir and tolgav genres of Kazakh folk poetry. Jambyl, who achieved his real fame with his poemsin aytis genre, is also a very successful epic singer. He sang various epics such as Köroğlu, Girls Jibek, Oraq Mamay, Yedige and Shora Batir etc. with his dombyra by adding his own style; and presented them to public. The works of Jambyl are like a cultural encyclopedia of Kazakh people. Many of the historical and social events that Kazakh people experienced during the time period when the poet lived can be followed from the poems of the poet. Again, his poems contain a lot of information about the Kazakh daily life and social lives. The poem Aqyn Boldım by Jambyl ("I became a poet") have the characteristics of age epic genre. As is known, the genre age epic is one of poetry types of minstrel literature, and in this kind of poems, the poetsinger evaluates every phase of human life gradually in parallel with their feelings, thoughts and experiences. Age epics that are among the common elements of the Turkish world literature are one of the poetry types reflecting the traditional folk knowledge that the public has obtained for ages and the common cultural memory of the society. In this study, a general information about the concept of age epic and the life of Jambyl was provided, and the poem Aqyn Boldım, which features as an age epic, was introduced to the world of literature and Jambyl's poetry world was tried to be studied through this work.
