Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study adolescents’ level of separation-individualization and some demographic variables in their relationships (gender, class level and school type). The study universe of the research is made up of 11th and 12th-class high school students studying in high schools in the 2016-2017 educational year, located in the center of the city of Batman. The examples of the study are the total of 557 (Women=312; Men=245) people, including N11=209 11th class, N12=348 12th class, who were randomly taken and volunteered from different kinds of high school. Relational and screening models were used in the study. The measurement tools are the scale of separation-individualization, the scale of associate relationships and the personal information form. The data obtained from participants was analyzed through independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Collapse Moments Correlation and Multiple Regression. According to the results of the study, adolescents have a negative-significant relationship between partnerships and separation-individual relationships and the scale points of partnerships have been found to make separation-individual relationships. On the other hand, the levels of separation-individualization and relatives of adolescents are partly meaningful according to gender, class conditions, and according to the variable type of school, it is determined that it is meaningful in all scales.
