Bu çalışmanın amacı güreş hakemlerinin psikolojik ihtiyaç düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmaya Türkiye güreş federasyonuna bağlı 39 Uluslar arası, 32 Milli güreş hakemi katılmıştır. Anketler 2006-2007 sezonunda farklı müsabakalarda görev yapan hakemlere uygulanmıştır. Veri toplamak amacıyla Deci ve Ryan 2000 tarafından geliştirilen, Kesici, Üre ve ark. 2002 tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlaması yapılan Temel Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular SPSS 10,0 paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucuna göre milli hakemlerin Uluslar arası hakemlere göre özerklik, yeterlik ve ilişki ihtiyaç düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu, hakemlik yılı değişkenine göre 4-13 yıl arasında olan hakemlerin 24-32 yıl arasında olan hakemlere göre özerklik, yeterlik ve ilişki ihtiyacının yüksek olduğu, yaş değişkenine göre 37-49 yaş arasında olan hakemlerin 50-61 yaş arasında olan hakemlere göre yeterlik ihtiyacının yüksek olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the levels of psychological needs of the competition judges. The study included 39 international and 32 national competition judges associated with the Turkish Federation of Fighting. The surveys were applied to judges in different competitions in the 2006-2007 season. Developed by Deci and Ryan 2000 for the purpose of gathering data, Cutter, Cutter and Arc. The Basic Psychological Needs Measurement was used to be adapted to Turkey by 2002. The results were evaluated using the SPSS 10.0 package program. According to this study, the national judges have high levels of autonomy, competence and relationship needs according to international judges, the judges between 4-13 years according to the variable of the year of judgment have high levels of autonomy, competence and relationship needs according to the judges between 24-32 years, the judges between 37-49 years according to the variable of age have high levels of competence needs according to the judges between 50-61 years.
