Bu çalışmanın amacı, Balıkesir ilinde görev yapan futbol hakemlerinin mesleki tükenmişlik düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Betimleyici tipteki araştırmanın evrenini Balıkesir’de görev yapan faal futbol hakemleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 1 Ocak 2016-15 Nisan 2016 tarihleri arasında toplam 100 (92 Erkek, 8 Kadın) hakem üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada Maslach ve arkadaşları tarafından (1996) geliştirilen, Ceylan ve Tiryaki tarafından (2001) Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği ile araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu’ ’kullanılmıştır. Ölçek 15 madde ve 3 alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğinin alt boyutları Tükenme, Kuşkuculuk ve Mesleki Yeterliktir. Cronbach Alpha katsayısı .82 bulunmuştur. Veriler SPSS 22 istatistik paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan normalite testinde (Shapiro Wilk Testi) veriler normal dağılım göstermediği için non-parametrik analizlerle (Mann Whitney-U ve Kruskal Wallis testleri) incelenmiştir. Anlamlılık düzeyi olarak p<0.05 değeri kabul edilmiştir. Hakemlerin yaş ortalaması 27.03±4,7, %92’si erkek, %20’si 6-10 yıl hizmet yılına sahip, %16’sı ulusal hakem, %79’u il hakemi, %5’i bölgesel amatör hakem, %75’i lisans mezunudur. Ölçek toplam puan ortalaması (42.86±15.03) olarak bulunmuştur. Hakemlerin ölçek puanlara bakıldığında, en yüksek ortalama değeri mesleki yeterlik boyutunda (29.60±7.24), en düşük ortalama değeri ise kuşkuculuk boyutunda (4.10±6.31) aldıkları görülmektedir. Hakemlerin cinsiyetlerine göre ölçek puanlarına bakıldığında, kadın hakemlerde en yüksek puanın tükenme alt boyutunda (52.44), erkek hakemlerde ise en yüksek puanın kuşkuculuk alt boyutunda (51.61) olduğu görülmektedir. Araştırmada hakemlerin tükenmişlik düzeylerinin orta derecede olduğu bulunmuştur. Hakemlerin mesleki yeterlik boyutunun yüksek, kuşkuculuk boyutunun ise düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaş, cinsiyet, hizmet yılı, kategori ve eğitim durumları ile ölçek puanı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir değer bulunmamıştır.
The aim of this study is to examine the level of professional extinction of football judges who work in the Fishesir province. The universe of the imaginative type of research has been formed by active football judges who work in Fishesir. In the study, a simple random sampling method was used. The study was conducted on a total of 100 judges (92 men, 8 women) between January 1, 2016 and April 15, 2016. The research was developed by Maslach and his friends (1996) and used by the "Personal Information Form" created by the researcher with the Maslach Extinction Scale, adapted to Turkish by Ceylan and Tiryaki (2001). The scale consists of 15 matters and 3 sub-dimensions. The lower dimensions of its scale are Exhaust, Doubt and Professional Capacity. The Cronbach Alpha ratio is .82. The data was analyzed in the SPSS 22 statistical package program. In the normality test (Shapiro Wilk Test) the data were studied with non-parametric analyses (Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis tests) because they did not show normal distribution. The value of p<0.05 is accepted as a level of meaning. The average age of the judges is 27.03±4,7, 92% are men, 20% are 6-10 years of service year, 16% are national judges, 79% are provincial judges, 5% are regional amateur judges, 75% are graduates. The scale was found as the total score average (42.86±15.03). In terms of scale scores, the arbitrators find the highest average value in the professional qualification size (29.60±7.24) and the lowest average value in the doubt size (4.10±6.31). In terms of the scale points of the judges according to the gender, the highest score in the women judges is the exhaust low (52.44) and the highest score in the men judges is the doubt low (51.61) . The study found that judges’ extinction levels were medium. The scope of professional qualification of the judges is high and the scope of doubt is low. There was no statistically meaningful value between age, gender, year of service, category and educational conditions and scale score.
This study aimed at reviewing professional burnout levels of football referees. The population of this descriptive study was consisted of active football referees who worked in Balıkesir Province. No sampling was made and a total of 100 referees (92 male referees, 8 female referees) who accepted to take part in the study between the 1st of January and the 15th of April, 2016 were included in the study. In the study; Maslach Burnout Inventory developed by Maslach et al (1996) and adapted into Turkish language by Ceylan and Tiryaki (2001) and Information Request Form designed by the researcher were used. The inventory is consisted of 15 items and 3 subdimensions. The subscales are exhaustion, cynicism and professional efficacy. Cronbach Alpha coefficient was found as .82. Data were processed with SPSS 22 statistical package program. Since data did not follow a normal distribution according to normality test (Shapiro Wilk Test), data were analyzed with non-parametric analyses (Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis tests). Significance test was set at p<0.05. Average age of the participants was 27.03±4.7 years, 92% of the participants were male, 20% of them had a professional experience of 6-10 years, 16% of them were national referees, 79% of them were provincial referees, 5% of them were regional referees and 75% of them graduated from master degrees. Total average score of the inventory was 42.86±15.03. When referees’ inventory scores were investigated, it was identified that highest score (29.60±7.24) was obtained in professional efficacy while the lowest score was obtained in cynicism (4.10±6.31). When referees’ inventory scores were investigated in terms of sex, it was found that highest score of female referees (52.44) was obtained in exhaustion while the highest score of male referees was obtained in cynicism (51.61). In the study referees’ burnout level was found to be at a moderate level. Referees’ professional efficacy was high while their cynicism was low. It was found that there was statistically significant correlation among age, sex, professional service time, category and educational status and inventory scores.
