Abstract:

Intertext is the fact that in one text other texts are indirectly or directly quoted. It is an artist's loan and conversion of a previous text while creating his own text or using other texts. Hilmi Yavuz, one of the important names of the Turkish poetry of the Republican period, in the early period often gets painted in the influence of the Second New Stream. The poet then develops a unique poetry style by combining the understanding of contemporary poetry with tradition. Hilmi Yavuz puts many intertext elements in his poems in this book. In the book of Lânet Poems, Hilmi Yavuz, Charles Baudelaire, Thomas Mann, Paul Verlaine, Fazıl Hüsnü Moğlarca, Ahmet Hâşim, Yahya Kemal, Sheikh Galip, Ismail Mâşûkî, Hacı Bayram Veli, etc. He sends names. The purpose of this study is to read and interpret the book of Hilmi Yavuz’s Lânet Poems in the context of intertext.
