The philosophy, which is an action of thought, shows itself in the language. The philosopher translates the language to speech when he translates his ideas. He studies the relationship between the language and the thought. The philosophical speech is formed according to the subject that the philosopher deals with, the approach to the subject and the way the subject is expressed. Philosophy has different forms of speech, such as poetry, novel, theatre. Today, one of the areas in which philosophy comes to us is the cinema. Thought is a common point of cinema and philosophy. It is the visual representation of the film and the thought structure that shapes the speech. In this study, the aim of the Agora film is to identify the philosophical speech in the film. The film has been studied by using speech analysis of the quality research methods.
