Turizmden sağlanan gelirlerin kalkınmaya önemli katkılarının olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu katkılarından dolayı turistik destinasyonlar arasındaki rekabet hızla artmaktadır. Turistik çekim kaynaklarına sahip yerlerin destinasyon sayılabileceği günümüzde özellikle küçük ölçekli destinasyonların, kendini geliştirmiş ve önemli bir yere sahip olan destinasyonlara karşı rekabette üstün duruma gelecek pazarlama stratejileri geliştirmeleri gerekli olmaktadır. Bu çalışma konusunu ise Sakarya destinasyonunda yeni ürün geliştirme ve pazarlama stratejilerinin araştırılması oluşturmaktadır. Yöntem olarak nitel araştırma yöntemi olan görüşme tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Sakarya’nın ne tür bir turizm destinasyonu olduğu, turizm açısından mevcut pazarlamasını ne durumda olduğu, Sakarya’ya dışarıdan bakıldığında bir turizm destinasyonu olarak ele alınıp turistlerin ziyaret etmesi için gerekli özelliklere sahip bir yer olup olmadığı, konumlandırmanın nasıl yapılması gerektiği ve ne tür yeni ürünler geliştirilebileceği belirlenmiştir.

It is known that the income from tourism has a significant contribution to the development. Due to this contribution, the competition between tourist destinations is rapidly increasing. Today, where places with tourist attractions can be considered a destination, it is necessary for small-scale destinations to develop future marketing strategies that are competitive to advance against self-developed and important destinations. The subject of this study is the research of new product development and marketing strategies in the Sakarya destination. It is used as a method of qualitative research method. The results of the analyses were determined what kind of tourist destination Sakarya is, what is its existing marketing from the point of view of tourism, whether Sakarya is considered a tourist destination from the outside and whether it is a place with the necessary features for tourists to visit, how to locate and what kind of new products can be developed.

Nowadays, where small tourist destinations can be considered as destinations with tourist attraction sources, it is necessary to develop marketing strategies that will be superior in competition against destinations that have developed themselves and have a significant place. The subject of this study is the research of new product development and marketing strategies in Sakarya destination. Interview technique, which is a qualitative research method, was used as a method. As a result of the analyzes, what kind of tourism destination Sakarya is, what is the current marketing situation in terms of tourism, whether Sakarya is considered as a tourism destination from outside, it is a place with the necessary features for tourists to visit, and how the positioning should be done. It was determined that such new products could be developed.
