TÜRKİYE’DE OKUL ÖNCESİ DÖNEMDE KAYNAŞTIRMA KONUSUNDA YAPILAN LİSANSÜSTÜ TEZLERİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de okul öncesi dönemde kaynaştırma konusunda yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesidir. Betimsel nitelikte olan bu araştırmada, genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya, YÖK Yayın Dokümantasyon Daire Başkanlığı tarafından arşivlenen ve tam metnine ulaşılabilen yirmi beş lisansüstü tez alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamındaki tezler, doküman analizi tekniği kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Lisansüstü tezlerden yirmi üçünün yüksek lisans ve ikisinin doktora tezi olduğu, lisansüstü tezlerde 2005 yılından itibaren artış olduğu ve araştırmaların 2010 yılında en fazla sayıya ulaştığı görülmektedir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen lisansüstü tezlerden on dokuzu nicel, dördü nitel ve ikisinin hem nicel hem de nitel olduğu belirlenmiştir. Nicel desenin kullanıldığı lisansüstü tezlerde, en fazla betimsel yöntemin kullanıldığı dikkati çekerken, deneysel yöntem ile yapılan çalışmaların daha az sayıda olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmada lisansüstü tezlerin ele aldığı çalışma konuları; "kaynaştırmaya yönelik görüş ve tutumlar", "kaynaştırma ortamında bulunan özel gereksinimi olan ve olmayan çocuklar", "kaynaştırma eğitim programlarının etkililiği", "kaynaştırma uygulamalarında öğretmenlerin değerlendirilmesi ve kaynaştırma ortamı" olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, en fazla kaynaştırmaya yönelik görüş ve tutumların incelendiği; kaynaştırma ortamında bulunan özel gereksinimi olan ve olmayan çocukların incelenmesinde en fazla sosyal duygusal gelişime odaklanıldığı; kaynaştırma eğitimi ile ilgili geliştirilen ve uygulanan eğitim programlarının etkili olduğu; kaynaştırma uygulamalarında öğretmenler ve kaynaştırma ortamının değerlendirilmesinde, öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma eğitimi ile ilgili yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadığı ve kaynaştırma ortamının fiziksel açıdan yetersiz olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the sub-graduate theses made in the pre-school period in Turkey. In this visual nature research, a general scan model was used. The research has taken twenty-five undergraduate theses archived by the YÖK Publishing Documentation Department and accessible to the full text. The theses under the research scope have been studied using the document analysis technique. Twenty-three of the postgraduate theses are master’s and two are doctoral theses, the graduate theses have increased since 2005 and the research has reached the highest number in 2010. Of the postgraduate theses included in the study, twelve were qualitative, four qualitative and two were both qualitative and qualitative. In the graduate theses in which the Nicel pattern was used, it was found that the most visual method was used, while the number of studies done with the experimental method was less. The study topics discussed by the postgraduate theses in the study were defined as: "opinions and attitudes towards the research", "children with and not the special needs found in the research environment", "efficiency of the research educational programs", "evaluation of teachers in the research practice and the research environment". The study found that the most views and attitudes towards coating were studied; the most focus was on social emotional development in the study of children with and without special needs in the coating environment; that the educational programs developed and applied in coating education were effective; that the teachers and coating environment were evaluated in coating practices, that the teachers did not have sufficient knowledge about coating education and that the coating environment was physically insufficient.

The Analysis Of Postgraduate Theses About Inclusion In Preschool Period In Turkey

The aim of this study to examine the postgraduate theses about inclusion in preschool period in Turkey. In this descriptive study, general screening model was used. In this research, 25 full-text postgraduate theses archived by Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Department of Publication and Documentation were involved. The theses within the scope of research were analyzed with document analysis technique. Postgraduate theses consist of 23 master’s theses and 2 doctoral dissertations. Also, it is seen that there is an increase in the number of postgraduate theses beginning from 2005 and the number of researches reached its maximum in 2010. It is identified that postgraduate theses included in this study consisted of 19 quantitative, 4 qualitative and 2 mixed method study. Based on the analysis of postgraduate theses designed with quantitative method, it attracted attention that while descriptive research method was used at most, experimental research design was used less. It is identified that “views and attitudes towards inclusion”, “the children with and without special needs present at inclusive environment”, “the effectiveness of inclusive education programs”, “evaluation of teachers in inclusion practices and inclusive environment ” are the research topics discussed in the postgraduate theses. According to the results of this study, it is found that the research examined mostly the views and attitudes towards inclusion; based on the examination of children with and without special needs at inclusive environment, social and emotional development was the most focused developmental area; education programs developed and implemented about inclusion were effective; based on the evaluation of teachers in practice and inclusive environment, teachers did not have enough knowledge about inclusion and inclusive environments were physically insufficient.
