A2 Seviyesi İçin Hazırlanmış İstanbul Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretim Seti ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsünün Yedi İklim Setinin Kültürel Aktarım Açısından Karşılaştırılması

Günümüzde var olan ve kabul gören çağdaş, eğitsel yaklaşımlar, dil ve kültür arasındaki çok sıkı ilişki olduğunu kabul eder. Kültür ögeleri ile ilişkilendirilmeyen bir dil birkaç dersle öğretilemez ve öğrenilemez. Bunun için kültür aktarımı yabancı dil öğretiminde önemli bir yer tutar. Bu sebeple dil öğretimi, aynı zamanda kültür öğretimi şeklinde adlandırılır. Yabancı dil öğretiminde kaynak dile ait kültürel kodların aktarılmasında metinler önemli bir görevi üstlenir. Başta ders kitapları olmak üzere, bu ders kitaplarında yer alan metinler kültürün asıl aktarıcısı ve öğreticisi konumundadırlar. Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğretimine yönelik hazırlanan İstanbul Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretim Seti ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsünün hazırladığı Yedi İklim Seti Türk kültürünün aktarımı açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada İstanbul Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretim A2 Seti ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsünün hazırladığı Yedi İklim A2 Seti yer alan metinleri kültür aktarımı açısından karşılaştırmak ve hangi kültür ögelerine yer verdiklerini tespit etmektir. Çalışma sonunda elde edilen verilerden hareketle yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi A2 seviye öğrencileri için hazırlanan ders kitaplarında kültür aktarımının karşılaştırılması yapılarak önemi vurgulanmış ve konuyla ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur.

Contemporary, educational approaches existing and well-accepted today assume that there is a very close relationship between language and culture. A language not being associated with cultural elements cannot be taught and learned with a few lessons. For this reason, cultural transfer has an important place in foreign language teaching. Hence, at the same time, language teaching also means the teaching of culture. In foreign language teaching, texts undertake an important duty in the transfer of cultural codes belonging to the source language. Texts included in these textbooks, mainly course books, are the main transmitters and teachers of culture. The Istanbul Teaching Turkish to Foreigners Set and the Yedi Iklim Set prepared by the Yunus Emre Institute prepared with the aim of teaching foreigners Turkish as a foreign language are important in terms of transferring Turkish culture. For this reason, the aim of this study is to compare the texts included in the Istanbul Teaching Turkish to Foreigners A2 Set and the Yedi Iklim A2 Set prepared by the Yunus Emre Institute in terms of cultural transfer and to determine the types of cultural elements which they include. Starting from the data obtained as a result of the study, the importance of cultural transfer was emphasized by making the comparison between the cultural transfer elements in both course books prepared for A2 level foreign students learning Turkish as a foreign language and some suggestions were made about the matter.
