Abstract:

İkilemeler, pek çok dünya dilinde olduğu gibi Türkçede de sıkça kullanılan bir anlatım biçimidir. Bu nedenle ikilemeler üzerine pek çok çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar genel olarak sözdizimseldir. Çünkü ikilemeler sözdizimsel yapılardır ve anlamı pekiştirme görevine sahiptirler. Ancak ikilemelerin kalıplaşıp yeni sözcük oluşturduğu veya doğrudan ortaya çıkan örnekler de dilimizde mevcuttur. Bu durum bu zamana kadar sözdizimsel bakımdan ele alınmış olan ikilemelerin biçimbilimsel bakımdan da incelenebileceğini gösterir. Bu çalışmada yeni sözcük ortaya koyan yapılar ikileme olarak mı alınmalı yoksa birleşik sözcüklerin alt türü olarak mı değerlendirilmelidir sorularına odaklanılacaktır. Yeni sözcük oluşturan ikilemelerin yapısı ile birleşik sözcüklerin yapısı benzer olduğundan bu çalışmada yeni sözcük türetmeye katkı sağlayan ikilemelerin, birleşik sözcük başlığı altında ele alınıp alınmayacağı konusu değerlendirilecektir.
