Bu araştırma, yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenenlerin okuma motivasyonlarına ilişkin algılarını ölçen, güvenirliği ve geçerliği yüksek bir ölçek geliştirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde okuma motivasyonlarının belirlenmesinde kullanılabilecek bir ölçek geliştirmek olduğundan, araştırma, “temel araştırma” niteliğindedir. Bu doğrultuda, Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenenlerin yazılı metinlerinden ve alan yazındaki ilgili çalışmalardan yararlanılarak 63 maddelik bir deneme formu oluşturulmuştur. Deneme formundaki maddeler, beş kategorili olarak derecelendirilmiştir. Hazırlanan form, Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenen 360 katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Varimax döndürme ile gerçekleştirilen açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda 29 maddelik beş faktörlü bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Faktör analizi sonucunda toplam varyans %49,1’dir. Her bir faktörün açıkladığı toplam varyans ise sırasıyla %12,84; %10,34; %10,12; 8,2 ve %7,59’dur. Her faktöre ilişkin özdeğerler sırasıyla 5,40; 3,15; 2,30; 1,94; 1,42’dir. Ölçeğin alfa güvenirliği 0,843 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Faktör analizi bulguları, ölçeğin yapı geçerliğinin sağlandığını ortaya koymaktadır.
This research was done with the aim of improving a high scale of reliability and validity, which measures the perceptions of Turkish as a foreign language learning about the reading motivations. Since the purpose of the study is to develop a scale that can be used in determining the reading motivations in Turkish teaching to foreigners, the research is in the character of "base research". In this regard, a test form of 63 subjects was created using the written texts of those who learn Turkish as a foreign language and the relevant studies in the field text. The materials in the test form are classified in five categories. The prepared form was applied to 360 participants who learned Turkish as a foreign language. As a result of the opening factor analysis performed with Varimax reversion, a five-factor structure of 29 ingredients was obtained. The total variance of the factor analysis is 49.1%. The total variance revealed by each factor is respectively 12.84 %; 10.34 %; 10.12 %; 8.2 % and 7.59 %. The equivalents for each factor are 5.40; 3.15; 2.30; 1.94; 1.42 respectively. The alpha reliability of the scale is estimated at 0.843 . Factor analysis findings show that the scale’s structural validity is secured.
