 Dede Korkut’un 13. boyu, Türkistan nüshasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın konusu, Dede Korkut’un iki yeni boyunu içeren İran (Tahran) nüshasıdır. Türkistan nüshası gibi İran (Tahran) nüshası da 61 sayfalık bir metindir. İran (Tahran) nüshasının farkı ise 13. boyun yanı sıra iki yeni boyu da içermesidir. Çalışmada, yazma nüshada yer alan ve Kazan’ın adını nasıl kazandığını anlatan 14. boydan bölümlere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca nüshanın genel yazım ve dil özelliklerine değinilmiştir.

In this study, sections from the 14th epos which explain the name of Kazan was given. In addition, the general spelling and grammatical of the manuscript have been mentioned.
