Organizational silence is generaly defined as employees which have despite the different opinion, thoughts and ideas withhold these from their superiors consciously. At the present day, one of the source of wealth of modern organizations is the innovative, orginal, different ideas and thougts that their workers have. In this article it was tried to determine resasons of silence of academic staffs study different universities. it was to determine demographic, institutional and so on factors are differently or not effect reasons of organizational silence. It was determined demographic and institutional factors (age, academic tittle, perception of management style) are different from reasons of silence. In this context it was recommended different solutions to prevent the organizational silence.
