Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to study the subjects of the level of psychological stability in adolescents. The data was collected from 1022 high school students who are studying in the high schools associated with the Ministry of National Education in the Afyonkarahisar province center. The study included 533 girls (52 percent) and 489 men (48 percent) and 1022 high school students. The study used the Adolescent Psychological Resilience Measure to measure the psychological stability, the Social Support Measure to measure the perception of social support, the School Engagement Measure to measure the school commitment and the Personal Information Form. The data was studied by correlation and hierarchical regression analysis. The findings have found that the social support and school commitment perceived are meaningful contributors to psychological well-being in adolescents. Sex and important life events have not been found to be a meaningful contributor to psychological stability in adolescents. The findings were discussed in the light of the summer and presented in recommendations.
