Forming an alliance with the Ottoman Empire, Germany joined the First World War with the aim of removing Russians from the Caucasus in line with her East policy. With this purpose, both states have entered into various joint activities during the war. One of these activities is the establishment of the Georgian Legion that was founded in order to gain independence for Georgia. Yet, defeats in the Caucasus Front as a result of serious resistance of the Russians and the retreat of the Ottoman army became a barrier before the plan. This study aims to review the conflicts between the profits of the Allied powers and that of Georgia, and the outcomes of the attempts made by the Georgian Legion according to their mutual policy. In this context, the Caucasian policy of the allied powers and the reasons that led to it were discussed, as well as with the activities done in order to achieve this policy in addition to the war
