Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı, 9. sınıf öğrencilerinin yerin şekillenmesi konusundaki kavramlarla ilgili yanılgılarının olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla kavram yanılgı testinin geliştirilmesi ve uygulanmasıdır.  Araştırmada, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama yöntemi ile uygulama okullarının belirlenmesinde kolaylıkla bulunabilen örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında, Kayseri, Çorum ve Ankara illerinden seçilen fen, Anadolu ve meslek lisesinde öğrenim gören 703 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Görüşme Formu” ve iki aşamalı “Başarı Testi” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “Görüşme Formu”, veri toplama aracında yer alacak kavramların belirlenmesi amacıyla (12)coğrafya öğretmeni ve iki (2) araştırma görevlisine uygulanmıştır. “Görüşme Formu”ndan elde edilen veriler, coğrafya eğitiminden iki alan uzmanı ile ölçme ve değerlendirme alanından iki uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda düzenlenerek 35 maddelik ”Başarı Testi” araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Başarı Testi’nin pilot uygulaması 209 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Başarı Testi’nden ayırt edicilik düzeyi düşük olan maddeler çıkarılarak testin ortalama güçlüğü 0,50; ayırt ediciliği 0,46; KR20 güvenirliği 0,81; KR21 güvenirliği 0,79 bulunmuş ve başarı testi 29 madde ile son şeklini almıştır. Araştırma sonucu kavram yanılgısı oranı en fazla barkan, seki, şahit kaya, kaldera ve jeolojik zamanlar kavramlarında tespit edilmiştir. Kavram yanılgısı oranı en fazla Anadolu lisesinde iken en düşük fen lisesinde tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to develop and implement the concept error test to determine whether the students of 9th grade have errors in the concepts of the formation of the place.  The research has used a sample method that can be easily found in the determination of the practical schools from the quantum research methods to the relative scan method. The research was carried out in the 2015-2016 educational year, with 703 students studying in the science, Anadolu and Professional High School, selected from the provinces of Kayseri, Çorum and Ankara. As a data collection tool, the "Conversation Form" and two-stage "Success Test" were used. The "Conversation Form" developed by researchers was applied to (12) geographical teachers and two (2) researchers in order to determine the concepts to be included in the data collection tool. The data obtained from the "Conversation Form" was developed by the researchers of the 35-matter "Success Test" by organizing the two specialists in the field of geography education and the two specialists in the field of measurement and evaluation. The pilot application of the Success Test was conducted with 209 students.
