Sahâbe Edebiyatı Kaynağı Olarak İbn Ebî Hayseme’nin et-Târîḫ Adlı Eseri

Sahâbîler ile ilgili kaynaklardan biri İbn Ebî Hayseme’dir. O, et-Târîḫ adlı kitabında hadis rivayetleri veya âlimlerin açıklamaları aracılığıyla sahâbîleri tespit etmektedir. Sahâbîlerin tanıtımına yönelik isim, aile ve hayatları gibi çeşitli konularda pekçok bilgi nakletmektedir. Fakat et-Târîḫ günümüze eksik olarak ulaşmıştır. Bu eserin eksik kısmındaki bilgilerin bazısına sahâbe edebiyatından ulaşılabilir. Bu literatürdeki beş eser incelendiğinde İbn Ebî Hayseme’nin İslam ile yaşanan değişim, siyer-i Nebî, sahâbe dönemi hakkında genel bilgiler, aşere-i mübeşşere ve toplam 408 sahâbînin tanıtımı hakkında açıklamaları tespit edilmektedir. Tespit edilen sahâbîlerin üçte birinden daha azı İbn Ebî Hayseme’nin günümüze ulaşan et-Târîḫ’inde yer almaktadır. Sahâbe biyografi yazarları sahâbîliği tartışmalı kişiler hakkında da İbn Ebî Hayseme’den istifade etmektedirler. Bu kişiler içinde sahâbî olmayan 57 kişi görülmüştür. Bunlar İbn Hacer’in el-İṣâbe adlı eserinde uyguladığı gibi üç grupta değerlendirilmiş ve bunların 10’unun Hz. Peygamber sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem’i temyiz çağı öncesi gören, 28’inin muhadram olan, 19’unun ise tâbiî olan veya isimleri yanlış yazıldığı için sahâbî sanılan kişiler oldukları anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca İbn Ebî Hayseme ile İbn Hacer’in, kimlerin sahâbî olduğu, kimlerin sahâbî olmadığını tespitte çoğunlukla aynı sonuca ulaştıkları gözlenmiştir.

One of the sources is Ibn ‘Abî Hayseme. When the five works in this literature are studied, the explanations of Ibn Ebî Hayseme's change with Islam, Siyer-i Nebî, general information about the Sahâbe period, Acer-i Mbeşere and the promotion of a total of 408 Sahâbî are identified. There is less than one-third of those who have been identified in the Qur’an, in the Qur’an, in the Qur’an. The writers of Sahâbe biographies also appeal to the people of the Sahâbe by Ibn Ebî Hayseme. There are 57 people who have not been seen. Three of them were found in the tribe of Ibn al-Hajr, which was applied in the work of al-Iṣâbe, and 10 of them were Hz. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are those who have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before the age of appeal, and those who are Muslims, and those who are followers, and those who are believed to be Sahabi because their names were written wrong. And the most of them are the ones who do not know the truth, and the most of them are the ones who do not know the truth, and the most are the ones who do not know the truth.

Ibn Abī Khaythama’s Al-tārīkh As A Source Of The Major Ṣaḥāba Literature

Ibn Abī Khaythama is one of the sources related to ṣaḥāba (companions of the Prophet). He had identified ṣaḥāba through ḥadīth narratives or explanations of scholars in his al-Tārīkh. He arecounted many information on various issues about their names, families and lifes for introduction of ṣaḥāba. However, al-Tārīkh had reached to present as missing. Some of the information in missing part of this work, can be accessed from the ṣaḥāba literature. When five works in this literature were examined, Ibn Abī Khaythama’s explanations about the change of the people after the arrival of Islam, the life of the Prophet peace be upon him, general information about the period of ṣaḥāba, 10 people had been heralded with Paradise and in total 408 ṣaḥāba were identified. It was included less than one third of these in the present part of the al-Tārīkh. Writers of the companions literature also benefited from Ibn Abī Khaythama about the people controversied to be ṣaḥābī. It was seen that 57 non-ṣaḥāba in these. These were evaluated in three groups as Ibn Ḥajar applied at his work al-Iṣāba and understood that 10 of these are who saw the Prophet before the age of appeal, 28 of these are mukhadramūn (severeds), 19 of these are the followers or thought they were companions because their names were mispelled. Also It was observed that Ibn Abī Khaythama and Ibn Ḥajar mostly reached the same result in detecting the people who are ṣaḥāba and who are not ṣaḥāba.
