Algılanan Liderlik Tarzının Tükenmişlik Düzeyine Etkisi: Çanakkale Otel İşletmelerinde Bir Araştırma

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı çalışanların otel yöneticilerinde algıladıkları liderlik tarzlarının tükenmişlik düzeylerine etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada liderlik tarzları olarak çalışan, üretim ve değişim odaklı liderlik tarzları incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacını gerçekleştirmek için Çanakkale ilinde faaliyet gösteren dört ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarına anket uygulanmıştır. Basit tesadüfi yöntemle seçilen otel çalışanlarına toplamda 120 anket dağıtılmış, bunlardan 107 geri dönüş sağlanmış ancak eksik ve hatalı anketler çıkarılarak toplamda 102 anket analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda çalışanların tükenmişlik düzeylerinin orta düzeye yakın olduğu ve çalışanlar tarafından yöneticilerinde en fazla üretime yönelik liderlik tarzının algılandığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada çalışan ve değişim odaklı liderlik tarzlarının tükenmişlik düzeyi üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu, üretim odaklı liderlik tarzının ise tükenmişlik düzeyi üzerinde herhangi bir etkisinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

The Impact of Detected Leadership Style on Extinction Level: A Research in Çanakkale Hotel Business

Abstract:

The main objective of this research is to determine the impact of the leadership styles that employees perceive in hotel managers on extinction levels. The study has studied leadership styles that work as leadership styles, productive and exchange-oriented. The survey was carried out to four and five-star hotel employees operating in the province of Çanakkale to the purpose of the research. A total of 120 surveys were distributed to the hotel staff selected by simple random method, of which 107 were returned but missing and incorrect surveys were removed and a total of 102 were analyzed. The analysis of the data found that employees’ extinction levels were close to the middle level and that employees perceived the leadership style in their managers towards too much production. The study found that working and change-oriented leadership styles have a significant impact on the extinction level, while production-oriented leadership styles have no impact on the extinction level.

The main purpose of this study is to explore the influence of hotel employee’s perceived leadership style on their level of burnout. In this research; employee-oriented, change-oriented and production-oriented leadership styles are investigated. Within the scope of this research, the employees of four and five star hotels in Canakkale were surveyed. A total of 120 questionnaires were distributed to the employees who were selected by simple random method. However, 107 questionnaires were returned and 102 questionnaires in total were analyzed after missing and incorrect ones were excluded. Based on the analysis of data, it was determined that the burnout levels of the employees are low as well as production-oriented leadership is the most perceived leadership style by the employees. At the same time, a significant relationship was found between the level of burnout and both employee-oriented and change-oriented leadership styles. On the other hand, no significant relationship was found between the level of burnout and production-oriented leadership style.
