Abstract:

The virtues that reflect the behavior of a person as a character character are vital for leadership. The decent leadership scale consisting of 18 articles and five dimensions developed by Wang (2011) has been adapted to Turkey by applying it to three separate groups of university students and teachers. To determine the language equality, the English teaching department is applied to students with a three-week interval of the English and Turkish scale. It is determined that the points obtained from both forms have a meaningful and positive relationship. In the study of the validity of the structure, the first verifying factor analysis was carried out and the indicators that show the model conformity with the data were studied and the scale was determined to have acceptable conformity (X2/sd=2,25; RMSA=0,07; SRMR=0,04; NFI=0,92; CFI=0,95; GFI=0,88; AGFI=0,85; TLI=0,84). The evaluation of measurement validity has determined a meaningful and positive correlation between the scales. The internal consistency ratio is 0.96 for the general scale and the scale is highly reliable. In the study of the total correlation of the material, the findings show that all the materials were correctly understood by the participants. The Excellence Leadership Scale adapted to Turkey is considered to be a valid and reliable tool in determining the Excellence Leadership level.
