Abstract:

From its first appearance in 2008 to this day, both public and private sectors closely followed with interest, the blockchain technology has many fields of application such as cryptocurrencies, registration and management of citizenship information, electronic voting, supply chain management. Due to its unique structure due to its technical characteristics, the technology, which is expected to have a devastating effect on many existing applications, is invested by developed countries and international organizations, and research and prototype development activities are intensely carried out. In this study, important international unions and organizations and the work of the world’s leading countries on digitalization have analyzed the position of Turkey in the world and the fields of application of technology in public services.
