Bu araştırmada, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının mesleki benlik saygıları ile yaşam doyumlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişki düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri, Ordu Üniversitesi Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Bölümünde öğrenim gören 66 öğretmen adayından elde edilmiştir. İlişkisel tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; “Mesleki Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği”, “Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği” ile araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının “Mesleki Benlik Saygısı” ile “Yaşam Doyumu” değişkenleri arasındaki ilişki düzeyi, basit doğrusal regresyon analizi ve pearson korelasyon analiziyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde mesleki benlik saygısı ile yaşam doyumu arasında pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

Abstract:

In this study, science knowledge is aimed at studying the professional self-esteem and life satisfaction of teachers candidates in terms of various variables and determining the levels of relationships between them. The research data was obtained from 66 teachers candidates who studied in the Department of Science and Information of the Army University. The research used the method of relational scan as a data collection tool; the "Personal Information Form" created by the researcher with "Professional Identity Respect Scale", "Life Scale Scale". In the study, science knowledge examined the level of relationship between the "Professional Self-respect" and the "Life Doyum" variables of the teacher candidates, with a simple linear regression analysis and pearson correlation analysis. When the research results were evaluated, a statistically meaningful relationship was found between professional self-respect and life satisfaction in a positive direction.

The aim of this research is investigated the professional self-esteem of science teacher candidates with life satisfaction in terms of various variables and to determine the relationship levels between them. The research data were obtained from 66 science teacher candidates who are studying in the Science Teaching Department of Ordu University. In the research, which uses relational scanning method, as a data collection tool; “Professional Self-Esteem Scale”, “Life Satisfaction Scale” with together “Personal Information Form” created by the researcher were used. In this study, science teacher candidates' the relationship level between variables of 'Professional Self Esteem' and 'Life Satisfaction' was investigated by simple linear regression analysis and pearson correlation analysis. When the results of the research were evaluated, a positive direction and statistically significant relationship was found between professional self-esteem and life satisfaction.
