Abstract:

Today, good education begins from primary school and continues to high school, high school and university. After graduation, this time the job is beginning. While some graduates continue their ways with postgraduate education, a large part of them also enter jobs in different sectors. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which is the top of the most graduating faculty, creates opportunities for some with its widespread business spheres to its graduates. Some graduates may be disappointed because they don’t know what to do and are unemployed. The purpose of the study is to identify the impact of accounting/financial group courses in the faculty of Harran University School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, to measure the level of success in accounting courses and to determine the weight of accounting in postgraduate job choices. The study, Harran University School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, applied to 447 students studying in the last class of the departments of Business, Economics, Public Administration and Finance. Students are asked questions about their success in accounting/financing courses and their postgraduate goals. The survey examined whether there were differences between the demographic characteristics of the 447 students who responded to the survey and the success of the accounting courses and their postgraduate goals, and a set of differences were found.
