Abstract:

It can be possible for a society to capture the level of "must civilizations" by educating young people with moral values equipped with superior qualities. The future of a country depends on it. For this reason, our country’s “Values Education” is promoted. In connection with this issue, the Ministry of National Education in 2017 presented a press release on the subject of "Values Education" on the subject of some changes in the curriculum and identified "the ten root values" that should be based on the MEB values education. The "the ten root values" identified in this article is to make a general assessment in terms of values education. A survey was also prepared in the form of a semi-configured 4 likert scale. This survey assessed the opinions of teachers against the "Ten Root Values" and the teachers’ opinions on whether these values are sufficient and whether other spiritual and religious values are not placed.
