Abstract:

This study aims to study the student's computer experience and attitude towards the computer according to some variables. To this goal, the study used a survey form consisting of "Personal Features, Computer Experience, Computer Attitude Scale and Web Attitude Scale" developed by Liaw (2002). The study participants are students studying at Dicle University in the spring and summer periods between 2008-2010 academic and academic years. The survey form was applied to 1197 university students. From the analysis of the research data, the frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation, t test, F test and Tukey HSD test were used. The analysis found that there were significant differences between the university students' computer experience and their attitudes towards computer use, in terms of the class they studied, the faculty they studied, and the time they were computer users.
