Abstract:

This research was done to analyze questions related to organic chemistry in the Teaching Field Knowledge Tests according to the Updated Bloom Taksonomy. For this purpose, 66 questions related to organic chemistry in chemistry and science/fen and technology tests in 2013-2019 were analyzed using document examination techniques. According to the findings obtained, when the levels of cognitive processes of questions are ranged at least to the most, the levels of "application" (4.5%) and "evaluation" (7.6%) and "creation" (13.6%) and "memory" (19.7%) and "understanding" ( 54.6%) are not at the level of "solving". The information levels of questions vary accordingly in the form of "Ultimate", (19,7 per cent), "Static" (34,8 per cent), "Cavramsal" (45,5 per cent), while there is no question in the information level of "Traditional". When the distribution of questions is examined by years, it can be said that the low-cognitive level is 80.3%, while the "supernatural" level is 19.7%. In KPSS/ABT, it is recommended to prepare questions in a way that reveals the expertise of the candidates, to take into account the Renovated Bloom Taksonomy and to homogeneously distribute to the cognitive process and level of information.
