Araştırmanın amacı, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin sosyal beceri düzeylerinin farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Çalışma grubu Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören 81 erkek 69 kadın olmak üzere toplam 150 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi uygulanmış betimsel bir araştırma olarak ele alınmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Riggo (1986) tarafından geliştirilip, Türkçe ’ye uyarlama çalışmaları Yüksel (1998) tarafından gerçekleştirilen Sosyal Beceri Envanteri (SBE) ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ortaya koyduğu bulgulara göre, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerin sosyal beceri düzeylerinin; cinsiyet, sigara kullanma, spor yapma, algılanan sosyo-ekonomik değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Cinsiyet Değişkenine göre erkek öğrencilerin duyuşsal kontrol düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sigara kullanma değişkenine göre duyuşsal anlatımcılık ve sosyal kontrol alt boyutlarında ortalamaya bakıldığında sigara kullanmayan öğrencilerin sigara kullanan öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Spor yapma değişkenine göre, Sosyal kontrol alt boyutunda anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Spor yapmayan öğrencilerin spor yapan öğrencilere göre sosyal kontrol düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Algılanan sosyo-ekonomik değişkenine göre, duyuşsal duyarlılık alt boyutunda, öğrencilerin algıladıklar sosyo-ekonomik düzeyine göre sosyo-ekonomik durumu düşük olarak düşünen öğrencilerin orta ve iyi olarak hisseden öğrencilere göre duyuşsal duyarlılık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of the research is to study the social skills levels of the students of Physical Education and Sports High School in terms of different variables. The study group consists of a total of 150 students, including 81 men and 69 women, who studied at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University, Physical Education and Sports High School. In the research, the scan method was considered as an imagistic research applied. As a data collection tool, the researchers developed the Personal Information Form and Riggo (1986) and used the Social Skills Inventory (SBE) scale, which was carried out by the Turkish Adaptation Studies. According to the findings that the study revealed, the level of social skills of the students of Physical Education and Sports High School has been determined to be significantly different according to gender, smoking, sporting, and the socio-economic variables perceived. The gender variable has found that male students have high levels of sensual control. According to the smoking variable, the average of non-smoking students in the lower dimensions of sensual narrative and social control was higher than those who smoked. According to the variable of doing sports, a significant difference was found in the lower dimension of social control. Students who do not do sports have higher levels of social control than students who do sports. According to the detected socio-economic variable, the sensory sensitivity is low, the levels of sensitive sensitivity are high compared to the students who think the socio-economic situation is low compared to the socio-economic level they perceive.
