Abstract:

This study is aimed at determining whether the causes and causes of non-continuity of high school students differ according to some demographic variables. The study was conducted on a total of 630 high school students, including 308 women and 322 men, who are continuing to 6 different kinds of secondary education institutions located in the Fethiye district of Muğla. The research data was collected with the personal information form developed by the researchers and the Causes of Incontinuity Form developed by Öztekin (2013). In the analysis of data, the analysis of frequency, percentage, arithmetic average and standard deviation, the analysis of differences, the independent group t-test and one-way variance analysis were used, and the SPSS 20.0 program was used. The study finds that students evaluate the causes of uncertainty at the highest average and at the lowest average and at the lowest average and at the lowest average and at the lowest average and at the lowest average and at the lowest average. There are also differences in students’ assessment of the causes of disruption according to gender, class level and school type variables; however, the socio-economic level perceived has not been found to make a significant difference in students’ assessment of the causes of disruption.  The results of the study are discussed in the light of the summer.
