Abstract:

Epidemic diseases that spread in many ways, mainly in the population movements, have threatened human existence and communities throughout history. His historical history had led to the emergence of various health problems in the areas where diseases such as scratch, cholera, flower, trauma were spread thousands of years ago, and to a significant loss of lives. For this reason, the states were fighting epidemic diseases to the extent possible. The fight against these diseases was held during the Ottoman state. The effects of epidemic diseases, during the Balkans and the First World War, which caused major destruction, continued during the period of the National Struggle and the Republic. During the Republic, epidemic diseases were often transmitted to Anatolia through various means from neighboring countries such as Syria, Iraq and Iran. In the provinces of Urfa, Mardin, Siirt, Diyarbekir, Elaziz, Bitlis, Van and Hakkari, which are neighboring to these countries, the first Public Inspectorate was established in 1927. The first public inspection, in the provinces covered by it, was included in the health services carried out by the Health and Internal Mutuality Agency in the area through the Health and Social-Cultural Services, in the areas of the provinces covered by it, in the areas of the provinces covered by it, in the areas of the provinces covered by it.
