Abstract:

The purpose of this research taking the opinions of the students about the activities was prepared with the integration of multidisciplinary approaches and examining the effects of these activities.  It was negotiated about the activities of the Argument Based Science Learning (ABSL) approach integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) training to reach this aim. The research method is a qualitative method of action research. A "developer action research" was used to determine the positive and negative aspects of the gathering of views on the approach the researcher has developed. According to this method, homogeneous sampling method is preferred. 20 students with similar socio-economic facilities participated in the research. The data of the study were collected with a fully structured interview form and analyzed with the Nvivo package program. It can be said that the activities and practices of the STEM-integrated ABSL approach provide students with the feeling of enjoyment, enjoyment and better understanding, and that students become better acquainted with each other and socialized during these events. It is proposed that the integration of multidisciplinary approaches can be used in the creation of students' classroom arguments.
