Abstract:

The Value is social, affective and educational references that are effective in creating experiences on a common ground of individuals and societies. Values play an active role in the formation of the self-identities of individuals and therefore societies. Today, the rapid development of technology has brought some social and individual problems. At this point, values education provides the members of the society with alternatives in the processes of building their holistic developmental stages on solid foundations, thus ensuring the protection of their own selves. Values education is of great importance in the formation of national and cultural assets and in the upbringing of individuals who contribute to the process of transferring them to future generations. In this study, the poems of Karacaoğlan and Dadaloğlu were examined in the context of love and sensitivity values. Their poems give examples of the reflections of the consciousness of love and sensitivity in the minstrels are discussed with the literature-based literature review method. The values in the works of the minstrels lay the groundwork for individual and social unity. The minstrel style Turkish poetry tradition has a strong influence on both the formation and transmission of the national and cultural richness of the Turkish society. The aim of the study is to draw attention to the share of the minstrel tradition in the formation, survival and transmission of values. It is also aimed to emphasize the importance of the contribution of societies in the formation of national identity, the preservation of cultural richness and the transmission of values from generation to generation.
