Abstract:

In Orhan Pamuk's New Life novel, where the outsourcing effect plays an important role, the narrative character Osman's life can be attributed to meaning by converting to the creation. The journey cycle that repeats throughout the novel is made up of the narrating character's unconscious cracks. This circle carries the commandments of the impotence, the desire to liberate, the desire to be essence. During these trips, the angel's image, which continually appears as a way of salvation, carries the commandments of the desires to find its existencial meaning and be fulfilled through another imagination associated with innocence and childhood. This image of the angel indicates the desire to return to the lost paradise and mother with the desire to get rid of sin and sin. In the end, this cycle is the journey of the narrative character to realize himself, to recognize himself, to see himself, and to find himself. After these trips, Osman is completing the establishment of self and becoming a 'self'. In this study, Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan’s anxiety, id-ego-superego, creative writers and day-to-day dreams, psychoneurrosis theory and mirror stage, with the help of psychanalytic perspectives, a psychanalytic approach to Orhan Pamuk’s New Life novel, where the esthetics of outsourcing play an important role, was questioned.
