Abstract:

Today, with the ease of using smartphones everywhere in everyday life and the increased use of mobile internet, the user’s way of accessing the internet is changing. Mobile devices that allow people to easily access the internet are becoming the first option in accessing the internet. The National Ministry of Education (EBA) released the first edition of the Education Information Network (EBA) in 2011, which predicts that the Internet will be more used in education. The learning objects created for the use of technology in education are formed on the basis of objects. The EBA allows all teachers and students in Turkey to take advantage of it for free. In this study, the evaluation of the mobile application of the educational portal EBA (Education Information Network) of the FATİH Project announced in 2010 and started in 2012. While evaluating the mobile application of the EBA application, discussions were conducted with teachers and students using the mobile application of the EBA with a semi-configured interview form. Given the increased access to the Internet from the mobile today with the research, EBA is expected to contribute and guide to the mobile development. As a result, interlocutors stated that the EBA mobile application has a simple, simple and easy design, the content is slowly uploaded, the EBA Lesson feature used on the desktop site cannot be used with the mobile application. They also said that mobile application will not be required because it is only used in the classroom environment, the addition of the EBA course and the transformation into a form of social media application where the student-student, teacher-student interactions will increase mobile use.
