So many results that aren't mine?

Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretimin İlköğretim Öğrencilerinin Akademik Başarısına Etkisi Üzerine Meta Analiz Çalışması

Abstract:

Bilgisayar destekli öğretimin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları üzerine olan etkisini inceleyen  araştırma sayısı, son zamanlarda gelişen bilgisayar  tabanlı yazılımlar sayesinde her geçen gün artarak sürmektedir. Çalışmada, 2002 ile 2014 yılları arasında yapılmış 1360 araştırma incelenmiştir. Yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri arasından, belirlenen sayısal verilere sahip 60 adet araştırma çalışmaya dahil edilmiş ve  meta analiz yöntemiyle birleştirilmiştir. Meta analize dahil edilen bireysel çalışmalar birleştirilmiş ve yapının heterojen olduğu görülmüştür. Bundan dolayı, genel etki büyüklüğü rastgele etkiler modeli kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır.Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde,  bilgisayar destekli öğretimin ilköğretim öğrencilerinin akademik başarısına olan etki büyüklüğü E++ = 1,162 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu değer, Cohen’s d ve Hedges’s g  ‘ ye göre  çok geniş düzeyde etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür.

Thequantity of research on theacademicsuccess of students has beenincreasingthankstorecentdevelopments in computer-based software.  Inthisstudy, the 1360 research studies that were conducted in theyears 2002 through 2014 wereanalyzed. 60 studies with numeric values that were chosen from master’s degree and doctorate degree theses were included in the study and combined with meta-analysis methods. Individual studies included in meta-analysis were combined and the structure was seen as heterogeneous. Because of thisresult, theeffect size was calculated by using a randomeffects model.Results of the study emphasized that the effect size of computer-aided teaching on the academic success of primary school students is E++= 1,162. This value was determined to have a largerimpactaccordingtoCohen’s D andHedges G.
