Özel Gereksinimli Çocuğa Sahip Anneler ile Tipik Gelişim Gösteren Çocuğa Sahip Annelerin Psikolojik Sağlamlık, İyilik Hali ve Mutluluk Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip ebeveynler ile sağlıklı çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin psikolojik sağlamlık, iyilik hali ve mutluluk düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 86 tanesi özel gereksinimli çocuğa, 86 tanesi ise sağlıklı çocuğa sahip toplam 172 ebeveynle yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Kısa Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği, Oxford Mutluluk Ölçeği ve İyilik Hali Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada sağlıklı çocuğa sahip ve özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin psikolojik sağlamlık, iyilik hali ve mutlulukla ilişkili ölçeklerden aldıkları puanlar açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı bağımsız örneklemlerde t testi kullanılarak incelenmiş ve t-testi sonuçlarına ilişkin etki büyüklükleri hesaplanmıştır. Analizler PASW Statistics 18 programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin psikolojik sağlamlık, mutluluk ve iyilik hali puanlarının, sağlıklı çocuğa ebeveynlerin psikolojik sağlamlık, mutluluk ve iyilik hali puanlarından daha düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

This study aims to compare the levels of psychological well-being, well-being and happiness of parents with special needs and parents with healthy children. The study was conducted with 86 children with special needs and 86 with a total of 172 parents with healthy children. The study used the short psychological well-being scale, the Oxford happiness scale and the well-being scale as data collection tools. In the study, parents with a healthy child and a child with special needs were studied using the t test in independent samples where they were statistically significantly differentiated in terms of the scores they obtained from the psychological stability, well-being and happiness-related scores and the impact size for the t test results was calculated. The analysis was carried out using the PASW Statistics 18 program. The research finds that parents with special needs have a lower mental well-being, happiness and well-being score than parents with healthy children have a lower mental well-being, happiness and well-being score.
