Abstract:

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of cooperative learning approach on academic achievement by document analysis method. In line with the purpose of the study, a total of 20 postgraduate theses conducted between 2010-2022 were examined. The document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. As a data analysis method, descriptive analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative data analysis techniques, was used. In the examination of postgraduate studies on the effect of cooperative learning approach on academic success; The "Publication Review Form" developed by the researchers using the relevant literature was used. Publication review form; years of the research, data types, research designs, sample group and finally their themes. According to the research findings; It is seen that the most thesis related to the postgraduate theses on cooperative learning was made in 2022 and quantitative research methods were preferred as the research type. At the same time, when theses are examined according to research themes, they are concentrated in the framework of three sub-themes; cognitive skills”, “social skills”, “affective skills” are the themes. Coding was done in line with these themes. In the sub-theme of "cognitive skills", "language development", in the sub-theme of "social skills" problem solving skills, and in the sub-theme "affective skills", it was determined that the codes that increase the sense of curiosity came to the fore.
